   Hermeneutics

   Learn to understand and apply the Bible with precision and power — interpreting Scripture responsibly while depending on the Holy Spirit as its divine Author. Students produce an eight-page exegetical paper and sit a final test.

   Old Testament Survey

   Winter 2026 SemesterNovember 16, 2026 – February 1, 202710 weekly sessions

   A comprehensive survey of the entire Old Testament — its history, literature and theology — read alongside its supernatural worldview and Jewish roots. Students read the whole Old Testament during the course.

3. 03

   Homiletics

   Spring 2027 SemesterFebruary 15 – April 5, 20278 weekly sessions

   Preach the Word with biblical fidelity, cultural relevance and Spirit-anointed power. Students master the heart, calling and craft of expository preaching, and leave able to preach both expositorily and topically in the local church.

4. 04

   New Testament Survey

   Spring 2027 SemesterApril 19 – June 7, 20278 weekly sessions

   A comprehensive survey of the entire New Testament in its first-century context, learning to recognise and remove the Western cultural assumptions that distort our reading. Students read all 27 books during the course.

5. 05

   Church History

   Summer 2027 SemesterJune 21 – August 9, 20278 weekly sessions

   The story of the church from the apostolic era to today, with attention to its global expansion and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit — doctrine, worship, mission and church life across cultures and centuries.

   • Pentecostalism as a Christian Mystical Tradition — Daniel Costelo

Every course runs three hours a week in class and expects six to nine hours of reading and written work outside it. Students also serve in a local church throughout the program.
